Community Matters conducts research into its members and their needs, activities and the communties they serve on a regular basis. This growing database is updated online as new research is completed, and our annual Members Survey is also available as a hard copy.
We are currently developing innovative research projects around communities and social action more generally, specifically investigating the impact of involvement in community associations and other similar groups on the political engagement and efficacy of individuals and neighbourhoods.
